Description:
Muscle wires are highly processed strands of nickle-titanium alloy called nitinol. At room temperatures the wires are easily stretched by a small force. However, when heated (eg by a small electric current), the wire shortens by 3-5% (irrespective of guage) with a useable amount of force. Muscle wires book includes one of each muscle wire.
